The 90-foot Christmas tree arrived at Fashion Island on Tuesday, Nov. 1 after a 650-mile trek. Crews from Victor’s Custom Christmas Trees took several hours to install the white fir in the Neiman Marcus-Bloomingdale’s Courtyard.

Crew members from Victor’s Custom Christmas Trees hoist up the evergreen. Completing a 650-mile journey from Mt. Shasta in Northern California, the tree will be adorned with 20,000 lights, and red, silver and gold ornaments, providing a wonderful photo opportunity for holiday pictures. It will remain in the courtyard until Jan 2, 2017 then be recycled.

Save the Date: Fashion Island will be holding its Tree Lighting Ceremony on Nov 18 and 19 from 6 to 6:30 p.m. in the Courtyard. The evening will feature a 25-minute live musical performance by the Young Americans, plus Santa and Mrs. Claus bringing the tree to life. Hosting this special holiday event is KOST 103.5 FM’s Mark Wallengren.
